Somewhere in the middle of researching what felt like a million products for my baby registry, I came across Tubby Todd. It was one of those brands I kept seeing recommended, and after doing my usual deep dive, I decided to give it a try.
Fast forward a few years, and we’ve actually had the chance to use Tubby Todd products with our family. So instead of simply telling you that we love them, I want to share which products we’ve used, what worked for us, what I’d buy again, and whether I think Tubby Todd is actually worth it.
Why I Chose Tubby Todd for My Baby
Tubby Todd is a family-focused skincare brand best known for products designed with sensitive little skin in mind. One of the things that originally drew me to the brand was how much thought they seemed to put into their formulas and testing, especially when I was a first-time mom scrutinizing every ingredient that came anywhere near my baby. 😂

If there’s one Tubby Todd product I immediately think of when someone asks me about the brand, it’s the All Over Ointment. This was easily one of our favorites.
When Lucas was just a few weeks old, he developed his first case of cradle cap. I used a simple three-step routine and followed it with the All Over Ointment. After applying it, I was genuinely shocked by how much better his scalp looked. The flakes came away so easily, and that experience was one of the first things that really sold me on Tubby Todd.

The Hair + Body Wash was another product we used regularly, and I loved the simplicity of having one product that worked for both bath time and washing Lucas’s hair. Because anything that makes bath time with a baby easier gets bonus points from me.
We originally used the Lavender & Rosemary version pictured here, and I loved the scent. It made bath time feel a little more relaxing and became an easy part of our routine. Most importantly, we had a great experience using it on Lucas’s sensitive skin.
I also liked that we didn’t need a ton of product to get a good lather, so one bottle lasted us quite a while.

The Everyday Lotion was another staple for us. We used the Lavender & Rosemary version pictured here, and it quickly became part of our bedtime routine when Lucas was a baby.
After bath time, I would use it while giving him a little massage before putting on his pajamas. It was such a simple thing, but it became one of those sweet little routines I looked forward to at the end of the day. 🥹

For our family, yes, Tubby Todd has been worth it. The products are definitely more expensive than some baby skincare brands you can grab at the drugstore, but we had a genuinely great experience with the products we tried. Plus, a little tended to go a long way for us, so we weren’t constantly replacing them.
That said, I don’t think every baby needs an expensive skincare routine. If you’ve already found an affordable wash and lotion that work well for your little one, there’s no reason to replace something that’s working. But if you’re looking for baby skincare with options made with sensitive skin in mind, Tubby Todd is a brand I’d consider.
If I were starting over and only wanted to try one Tubby Todd product first, I’d choose the All Over Ointment. That’s the product that made the biggest impression on me when Lucas was a newborn, and it’s the one I’d be most likely to recommend based on our experience.
